Another loud sigh of relief.

I'm breathing a sigh of relief. Because Obamacare lives. It won't be repealed. Because Mitt Romney ain't gonna be in the White House. Instead, Obama will be there to protect Obamacare. Thank gawd. And by the time Obamacare is fully implemented in the next several years, it's gonna gain in popularity. Just like Medicare. The vast majority of Americans will want to keep it. Obamacare isn't yet universal health care. But it's a giant step in the right direction. Obamacare was Obama's greatest achievement in his first term. And he did it without a single Republican vote. Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah! Sure, it would have been nice to bring it all about on a bipartisan basis. But hey, better that the common good be served, even over the protests of obstructionists. As for Obama's greatest achievement in the next four years, it's gonna be the salvation of the U.S. Supreme Court. Under Romney, any vacancies would have been filled by lunatic fringe Republicans. The likes of Scalia. Instead, Obama will see to it that there's more balance. Yes, that's what you hear coming from me. Another loud sigh of relief. --Jim Broede
