A chilly morning in Sardinia.
Morning. A bit chilly. For Sardinia. In the 40s. But plenty of sunshine. To warm up the day. Yes, the sun came up in the east again today. That’s the important thing. Making it easier to worship the light from the sun. Took 8 minutes to arrive. Traveling at a speed of 186,000 miles per second. I’m wondering. Will humans ever be able to hitch a ride on a beam of light? I’d do it. If given the opportunity. Maybe it takes being a spirit. Because a human body might be unable to withstand the gravitational force of such an acceleration. As a spirit, maybe one can even travel faster than the speed of light. Makes the spirit the highest and most fantastic form of life. Puts one on the same plateau as the creator himself. That’s where I wanna be some day. Up there. But for now, I’ll settle for a chilly and sunny morning in Sardinia. –Jim Broede
