Good enough for me.

When traveling, I like to stay in one place for a long, long time. Gives me the opportunity to truly catch a feel  for where I am. Some travelers, especially tourists, like to move about. To see so very much. To spread  themselves thin.  I’d rather savor one location. Sort of like I savor my Italian true love.  I don’t need two loves. One will do. Keeps me focused. Thing is, my true love has many, many dimensions. I could keep exploring her forever.  And still have more to learn. The same thing goes for the cosmos. I won’t ever get to see and grasp all of it. But hey, at the moment I’m in Italy. In Sardinia. In the city of Carbonia. With my true love. That’s good enough for me. I don’t have to be any other place. –Jim Broede
