Putting off 'til tomorrow.
I have too many clothes. So does my Italian true love. So when I’m in Sardinia, we pack bag upon bag of clothes. And take ‘em to the Red Cross. About a 10-mile drive from where we live. We loaded the trunk of our old Fiat yesterday. But decided as we were about to drive away, to not go after all. Because of inclement weather. But I normally encourage going anyway. Because I have faith. That either the rain will let up, or we’ll find something to savor, despite the rain. My true love got her way. But so do I. Always. Because I always have my true love to savor. And the Red Cross can be easily put off ‘til tomorrow. –Jim Broede
