Doing two things at once.

I’ve learned to read a book while riding a bicycle. No, it ain’t dangerous. I hold on to the handlebar with one hand. And the book with the other. And it’s so easy. Pedaling away. Yesterday, I put on 40 miles while reading three short stories. And had no accidents. Of course, I was on a stationary bicycle.  Thinking about rigging up a little platform from the handlebars. To hold the book. Don’t know if I’m capable of that. May have to call in a handyman. I’m sure it can be done.  Maybe there already are such contraptions.  If not, it’s time for somebody to invent one. –Jim Broede
