Shifty eyes. That's the clincher.

I know it’s unfair to judge people on the way they look. On their physical appearance. But there are some people that don’t look right. I dislike ‘em. Because of their faces. One of ‘em is Paul Ryan, the congressman from Wisconsin that was Mitt Romney’s pick for vice president. Fortunately, the Republican ticket lost.  Anyway, Ryan is generally described by others as fairly handsome.  A young guy. Still in his 40s. Ryan is not my idea of handsome.  He looks to me like a shyster.  Someone I wouldn’t trust.  Maybe I’ve been negatively influenced. Because he’s a Republican.  Ryan looks evil.  I’m turned off by him. Merely by his looks. And I’ll be the first to acknowledge, that’s wrong of me.  If I’m gonna dislike a guy, I should base it on something other than looks. And I do.  He’s a Republican. That’s the No. 1 turn off.  But those shifty eyes. That’s the clincher. –Jim Broede
