She's gotta be educated.

A swank new four-star hotel has come to my winter stomping grounds. Hotel Lu. My Italian true love has more or less ignored the place. Though it’s in her hometown, beautiful Carbonia, and only a half-mile from our abode.  I watched the 66-room hotel being constructed last winter. And now it’s complete and open. I’ve explored the hotel. On the Internet. And discovered that it has a restorante, the LuCaffe. Open throughout the day for sandwiches, salads and freshly baked pastries.  I’ve promised to take my true love there for a continental breakfast on Sunday morning. We’ll also take a look at the dinner menu, which features special Sardinian dishes. And there’s a spa, where one can get massages. That’s gonna be her birthday present in March. It’s a good thing that I’m around. To explore Carbonia. My true love needs coaxing. She takes her town far too matter-of-factly.   Soon I’ll know more about Carbonia than she does. She’s gotta be educated. And I’m the guy to do it. -- Teacher Jim Broede.
