Capturing a momentary pleasure.
I may be wrong. But I suspect many people don’t give their lives nearly enough thought and analysis. They don’t think. Don’t remind themselves that they are alive and conscious beings. They live as de facto robots. Going through the motions of living. And that shouldn’t be good enough. I’m for raising the level of consciousness. By taking time to actually think. About being alive. And what that means. For example, being aware of what’s happening. At this very moment. Is it gonna be another humdrum day, or a day of significance? A day to be remembered because a piece of the day was something to truly savor. Might have been a small thing. Initially, that is. But once it was grasped and appreciated in full scale, it became a momentary pleasure. Something that made the day worthwhile. Special. And meaningful. –Jim Broede
