Roofs of distinction. I notice.
Orange tile roofs. That’s what I see. As I look out the windows. In any direction. That is the most prominent feature. From my abode. In Carbonia. In Sardinia. In Italy. Orange tile roofs everywhere. Makes me fall in love. With the color orange. With roofs. When I’m back home in Minnesota, I seldom notice roofs. They are a conglomeration of roofs. Nondescript. Rarely anything outstanding. Or colorful. Or memorable. The orange-colored tile roofs, though, remind me of Arizona and the American desert southwest. Yes, roofs of distinction. I take notice. –Jim Broede
