Go when I go. Come when I come.

Every day is special. Extra special. That’s a good practice.  Then I don’t have to remember extra special days. Because I automatically know.  Today is extra special. So was yesterday. And so will be tomorrow. I find it unnecessary to single out holidays or anniversaries or memorable events in one’s lifetime. Because all days are treated in extra special ways. Like a continual celebration of life. My Italian true love is lobbying me to change my departure date. From the day before Easter to after the Easter holiday. As if Easter is extra extra extra special, I guess. But to me, Easter is like any other day. Extra special. That’s sufficient. I don’t consider one day better than another. In a sense, every day is Easter and Christmas and my true love’s birthday. The actual date doesn’t matter. Another thing. Have to catch my departure flight at 8 in the morning. My true love says that’s an inconvenient time. That I should try to find a better time of day or night. Of course, that would go against my grain. To ignore time. The clock doesn’t matter. I go when I go. I come when I come. –Jim Broede
