I'm blessed. And I know it.
The nicest thing about living in Italy is that I’m always in Italy. Every day now. Since Nov. 10. I don’t have to travel. Because I’m already here. Sometimes, my Italian true love feels obligated. That we should be traveling here and there. Maybe just for the sake of traveling. But hey. I’m in the city of Carbonia. In the province/state/region of Sardinia. On an island in the Mediterranean Sea. In the country of Italy. That’s good enough for me. I don’t have to be elsewhere. Or in every Italian city. Or every country of Europe, or the world. Just imagine, I’m living in Italy every day. Yesterday. Last week. Last month. Last year. Today. Tomorrow. Next week. Next month. And I’m savoring it all. Especially the presence of my true love. I don’t need more. Got it all. Don’t need to be in Rome or Milan or Florence. Just being in Italy. Wow! I’m blessed. And I know it. –Jim Broede
