People I've learned to reach.
I’ve learned the art/craft of reaching people. The people I want to reach. With words. It’s an ongoing process. Getting better at it. Day by day. Chip by chip. Don’t want to reach everyone. Knowing full well that’s an impossible task. Not that I wanna make it a task. It just is. Not everybody can be reached. Many Republicans, for instance. Sad thing. Once a Republican, always a Republican. There’s no movement. Other than being in lockstep with each other. Not only that, the goose-step, popularized by Nazis. It’s hail to the chief. Our chief. Some mythical figure. From Valhalla. But oh, so many people can be reached. They have open minds. And fall in love with life. With the goodness. The camaraderie. They work for the collective good. For the common good. These are the people I’ve learned to reach. –Jim Broede
