Wonder why.

Really don’t care that much about my image. People can think anything they want about me. Even bad stuff. Doesn’t really bother me. Because I don’t pay attention. I just go about living my life. Pretty much the way I please. It’s more important that I know who and what I am. But I know many, many people overly concerned about their image. Hurts to be thought of in the wrong way. They pay attention. And lose sleep over it. Better to laugh it off. To not take an image too seriously. Thing is, I can understand why, with some people, I have a negative image. Maybe because I don’t cater to them. I ignore ‘em. By not caring. Maybe they’d like to remake me. Into their own image. Which is funny. Because I don’t wanna be like them. I’d rather be me. Because I’m superior. Or at least pretend to be. I know that annoys them. But so what? I have nothing against the act of annoying the most annoying people. It’s fun. To see who can out-annoy each other. I do it often with Republicans. Which takes some doing. But hey, I’m good at it. Far better than they. That annoys them no end. Anyway, I have a good guy image, too. Especially with enemies of the Republicans. They like me.  As do many liberal Democrats. And socialists, too. I also go over big with romantic idealists, spiritual free-thinkers, dreamers and lovers. Wonder why. –Jim Broede
