The cosmos. And beyond.

Wonder if some day our current modern civilization will be deemed primitive. Maybe 100,000 years from now. The human condition will be so much more advanced. Evolved into beings that we can hardly imagine. Far, far superior. We think of ourselves as advanced. As intelligent beings.  But that’s a relative concept. Compared to an ant, we are the equivalent of gods. But at this very moment, other forms of intelligence may be looking at us askance. As tiny ants. Going about our lives in workmanlike ways.  Methodically. Unconsciously. Like living robots. Unable to comprehend the real world. The cosmos. And beyond. –Jim Broede
