Again I ask, why not me?

It’s a nice feeling. When momentarily forgetting where I am. Because I’m absorbed in thought. Could be I’m sitting at the computer. Or walking outdoors. Maybe it’s that I’m inside myself. Unaware of the outside world. That doesn’t scare me. Just the opposite. I feel the thrill of being in another realm. Makes me wonder if I have the ability to explore far-reaching outposts of the cosmos. By leaving my body. Moving to different and exotic places in an instant. A feat no doubt performed by the creator. So once again I ask, why not me? –Jim Broede
