The right place at the right time.

I try not to lament tragedy. Like the stuff that happened in Boston. Instead, I get on with the rest of life. Because I have absolutely no control over the violence and mayhem in the world. It’s all gonna happen. No stopping it. No matter how much I lament, it won’t change the situation.  I’d anguish if I had the ability to change events. But I don’t. So I have to accept it all. And still pursue life. The best way I can. In my little cloister.  Safe, I suppose, only because I’m lucky. To be in the right place at the right time. Makes me blessed. Having survived this long amidst the daily occurring tragedies all over the world. –Jim Broede
