One lucky and blessed fella.

Time is running out. Here in Arizona. Where I've been since Dec. 17. Seems longer. That's a good sign. Because in that sense I've sort of lost track of time. Still, I know it's time to return to cold and snow-full Minnesota. On Wednesday. Maybe I should accompany my Italian true love back to Sardinia. She leaves tomorrow. We've had a wonderful two weeks together.   Her first time ever in the American Desert Southwest. I could pick up and leave with her for Sardinia. Makes me a free man. Able to do as I please. But I have business in Minnesota. Taking care of my lake home. And my dear and beloved cats, Loverboy and Chenuska. Really, life is good. No matter where I am.  Even in Minnesota. In the wintertime. It's pure paradise in the summer. Remindful of Sardinia in the winter. No freezing temperatures. No snow. But I could live comfortably in an igloo. If I had my true love to keep me warm. Meanwhile, warm thoughts will suffice. We'll be in daily contact. On Skype. Goes to show that I'm one lucky and blessed fella. --Jim Broede
