On feeling good about life.

It’s marvelous. Magical. Wonderful. Extraordinary. Profound. Unique. That’s how I begin to describe the nearly 7-year relationship with my Italian true love.  So nice. That it has come about. And that we keep cultivating it. I expect it to last. As long as both of us are alive. And capable of functioning. Of course, neither one of us will live forever. But I don’t think about that too much. Savoring what I have today, and every day. It’s stupid to worry about tomorrow, next week, next month, next year.  I have today. And my dear true love. That’s sufficient. For me to feel good about life. –Jim Broede
