I was to Mars today. Where I listened to the
extraterrestrial sounds – mostly the winds -- originating from the surface of the
Red Planet. All of this combined with the soothing music of Johann Sebastian
Bach. Yes, a wonder brought to us by modern technology. With a big assist from a recording device in a weather station placed on Mars in July 1997 by the Pathfinder spacecraft. Also,
my imagination played a role. In my jettisoned trip to Mars. Believe me, it seemed real. When, for a
thrilling magical moment, I set a spiritual foot on Mars. –Jim Broede
