The master of the blank mind.

Walked today. For two miles. While trying to keep my mind blank. Kept repeating. 'Clear my mind. Clear my mind. Clear my mind.' Yes, clear my mind of all thought. While keeping my body in motion. Like an automaton. A robot. Seems to have had a relaxing effect. I was breathing long and deep breaths. Yes, too often. I find myself. Thinking too much. Too many thoughts. I need to clear my mind. Of all thought. Without falling asleep. It would be nice. If I could do that. At will. In order to relieve stress and anxiety. I will practice this. Daily. My intent. To become the master of the blank mind. --Jim Broede
