On being one's self.

Takes all kinds of people to make up the world. And I’m happy to be one kind. My kind.  Can’t say that any particular kind is better than others. All that matters is that I’m able to more or less choose my own course. I don’t have to be like others. Or a robot or clone. Better to be uniquely different. Meanwhile, I encourage others to be themselves. As long as they allow me to be me.  --Jim Broede
