My right: To do nothing.

Nothing wrong with doing nothing. Merely having a nothing day. Killing time. Yes. Occasionally I’m in the mood. To do absolutely nothing. I don’t mean going to bed. And sleeping away the day. Instead, I stay up. Wide awake. And focus on doing nothing. Oh, I might twiddle my toes. And stay bored. That’s the secret of doing nothing. A lack of interest. In any and everything. I wonder about the rest of you. Do you have days like that? Just plain doing nothing. I’ve mastered the art. Of staying idle all day. Without feeling the least bit of guilt. Yes. Yes. I’m exercising my inherent right. To do absolutely nothing. Whenever I feel like it.  --Jim Broede
