A long overdue wake-up call.

I can hardly wait. For people like me. Yes, white people.  To become the minority in America. That will make me feel more comfortable. About the future. Politically. Economically. Socially. It’ll make for a more liberal and tolerant nation. In all walks of life. I make no secret. About my distain. Over the way a white majority has run the show. Since our founding fathers set the repulsive course of racial and ethnic bias. Starting with a slave economy.  And with a hypocritical declaration. About everyone being created as equals. That’s never been the American practice. But we might move closer to it. When white people get a wake-up call. And learn what it’s like. To be a minority. --Jim Broede
