Life's most onerous sin.

Doing the right thing. On a daily basis. Is a daunting task. Because much of the time, I lack knowledge over what’s right and wrong. Yes, I’m bewildered. For many reasons. Most prominently. For not having the facts.  The wherewithal to make an informed decision. Often, it comes down to following my conscience.  My instinct. After moments of pondering. But I’m also guilty of going through the motions. Without giving any depth of thought. And wind up doing. The selfish thing. Rather than the common good. Yes. Life’s most onerous sin. --Jim Broede
