Exploring. All possibilities.

We’re sending another spacecraft to Mars. On Saturday.  Won’t arrive until late November. If all goes as planned. There’ll be a successful landing. On a plain as flat as Kansas. No hills. No mountains. These flights to a distant planet.  Always fascinate me. Just the idea. That we have the capability. Of sending a space craft to Mars.  So far, we’ve had seven successful landings. Think back. Not so long ago. When it was almost impossible. To imagine landing on Mars. Or even our moon. Now such feats are achievable. More likely to occur. Than peace on Earth.  Makes me wonder. If we have our priorities in proper order. Maybe it doesn’t matter. As long as we keep exploring. All possibilities. --Jim Broede
