It's their fault. Not mine.

So many people that I know. Lack confidence. In themselves. They have defeatist attitudes. Maybe because their lives are out of control. Due to addictions. From alcohol and other drugs. Or from negative compulsive disorders. They’re hooked. And don’t listen to reason. They’ve given up. Refusing to go in for psychotherapy.  For fear that they’ll be cured. In odd ways. They like being sick. Attaining some pleasure from it. More evidence. That we live in a crazy world. Where people don’t admit. That they are downright crazy. Of course, I personally admit it. And blame them for driving me bonkers. It’s their fault. Not mine.  --Jim Broede
