Need I say more?

Believe it or not. When I take issue with political, social and economic events and policies.  It’s because of my concern for the common good. Not necessarily my own good. Because I am personally relatively unaffected by these happenings. I still find happiness. Despite it all. I’m more or less hidden away. In the backwoods. Off the beaten track. Or in a cocoon. Away from most of the world’s turmoil. I’m not in the middle of the worst trouble spots. But I am concerned. For the others. Therefore, I am for the common good. Sincerely wanting and striving for better policies. That bring us closer to an end to human suffering. Wish we all felt like that. And worked for it. In constructive and unselfish ways.  Need I say more? --Jim Broede
