Take me with a grain of salt.

More than occasionally, I talk and write off the top of my head. That’s a habit. That many of us have. You must take that into consideration. When reading some of my posted comments. ‘Top of my head.’ It’s an idiom. A phrase or an expression with a figurative, or sometimes literal meaning. To put it in perspective, consider that I may be talking in an extemporaneous manner. Without careful thought, preparation or investigation. In other words, I’m acting like a nincompoop.
