A sad state of affairs.

Here’s the problem. Most people don’t give a darn. About meaningful stuff. Whether it be political, economic or social. Instead, they are preoccupied. With just making it through the day. It’s called short-term survival. That’s the way I see it. Of course, I could be wrong. Anyway, public apathy and indifference. Is my explanation for politicians being able to get away with murder (journalist Jamal Khashhoggi). Nobody really cares. Or they are too busy to give it their attention. In the upcoming mid-term elections, millions of citizens will stay home. Rather than vote. Could be just as well. Because they don’t bother to educate themselves on the issues. Indeed, it’s a sad state of affairs. --Jim Broede
