Having a nose for the truth.

I make it a required practice. To converse with strangers. Goes back to my days. As a newspaper reporter.  I had to find ways. To get people to talk. For the purpose. Of helping me write a story. Accurately. And in an interesting manner. My beat, so to speak. Was to reflect life. As it really is.  Knowing that truth often is stranger and more interesting than fiction. Certainly, truth is more relevant.  Of course, truth is often hard to ascertain. But I’m like a hound dog. Knowing that it can be sniffed out. I have the nose. For it. --Jim Broede
