Let’s pretend. That everyone is handicapped. To a degree.
Either physically, mentally or emotionally. How would we want to be treated? I
suspect. With respect. In gentle and understanding ways. With the kindly care and attention practiced by the
best of care-givers. But why do we have to wait? And pretend that someone needs
tender loving care? Can’t we merely
assume. That it’s best and wise, at the very least, to be polite/courteous. To every
human being. Regardless of status and circumstance. Or is that expecting too much? --Jim Broede
