Let's raise our expectations.

Let’s pretend. That everyone is handicapped. To a degree. Either physically, mentally or emotionally. How would we want to be treated? I suspect. With respect. In gentle and understanding ways. With the  kindly care and attention practiced by the best of care-givers. But why do we have to wait? And pretend that someone needs tender loving care?  Can’t we merely assume. That it’s best and wise, at the very least, to be polite/courteous. To every human being. Regardless of status and circumstance.  Or is that expecting too much? --Jim Broede
