Never start a day. In a hurry. Instead, proceed. Ever so
slowly. Often. I don’t start until noon. When I begin to function. Not yet on
all cylinders. I allow the pace to pick up. Gradually. Until it’s a smooth,
even flow. I’m at my best. Late at night. And into the wee hours of morning. Then
it’s time to shutdown. To feel tired. But
relaxed. To set aside. All anxieties. To fully feel the pleasure of recuperative
sleep. A day. With a perfect beginning
and ending. --Jim Broede
