The most we can ever hope for.

If I was a social worker with a big heart, I'd find a solution for people's problems. To make their lives more manageable. And to see to it that everyone in need got proper care. I think that's what social workers are supposed to do. At least in the ideal world. I know it's not an ideal world. But if I were a politician, I'd work for creating an ideal world. Oh, I dream of the ideal social worker and the ideal politician and the ideal world. Short of that, maybe what we all need are ideal friends. Maybe that's the most we can ever hope for. --Jim Broede
