If one keeps the faith.

The Alzheimer connection. It has had a dramatic effect on my life. Threw me in with other care-givers. Desperate people. Under stress. Made me learn to cope with the pitfalls of life. Stretched my understanding of unconditional love. Maybe made me a better human being. Certainly more understanding and compassionate. I learned to grieve. But also to get on with life. My path crossed with that of another care-giver. All because of Alzheimer's. And we are together. In love. Goes to show. That given time. Life evolves. Eventually things get better.
