In confident ways.
My Italian true love has an inferiority complex. She shouldn’t have. Because she’s the most superior woman I’ve ever known. I tell her that most days. As a reminder. To bolster her self-confidence. But still, she persists. Maybe out of acts of modesty. She’s beautiful. Intelligent. Talented. Worthy of being loved and revered. Oh, she’s confident. Don’t get me wrong about that. But she could be more confident. And deserves to be. I want her to feel good about herself. Every day. Even if she doesn’t do everything perfectly. Because there is no such thing as absolute perfection. The best people keep learning from their mistakes. And make the most of life. In confident ways. –Jim Broede
