Preparing for the next surprise.

In some ways, I’m always marking time. Waiting for things to happen. Unexpectedly. That’s part of life. Dealing with surprises. Good and bad. Often depends on how one chooses to handle it all. One can make good of bad. Or bad of good.  Makes life interesting. Means I’m seldom bored. Even when marking time. Because I don’t always know what’s around the corner. In the next moment. The next chapter. Anyway, marking time ain’t bad. Gives time for respite. I try to use it well. To prepare for the next big surprise. –Jim Broede
