Who's to blame for god's faults?
A long, long time ago, I wanted everything to go right in my day. Yes, the perfect day. Smooth as silk. An easy flow. Maybe that’s the way god lives. Don’t know. But if god is a perfect being, maybe he’s capable of creating perfection. At least in his life. If not others. I imagine god has peace of mind. After all, that would seem to be the nature of a perfect god. But then, I wonder if god screws up. Takes on a task. And then bungles it. More or less like the rest of us. And if god created us – well, we could blame god for our faults and blemishes. Meanwhile, I wonder who god can blame for his mistakes. Maybe there’s nobody else but god himself to blame. I’m told by some theologians that god always existed. But I have my doubts. Thing is, if god had a creator there must be a force higher than god. That may be good fortune for god. Because then he has someone else to blame for his imperfections. –Jim Broede
