Takes a direct hit from a bazooka.
I’m fully capable of getting under people’s skins. Here’s the way I do it. I jab them where it hurts. By suggesting that they make too many excuses. For putting things off. Might be that they don’t take care of themselves. Physically. Mentally. Emotionally. Instead, they let everything slide. Knowing full well they shouldn’t. Sometimes, I’d like to take a broomstick. And prod them. With a tap on their hinder. They don’t like that. But that’s all right with me. Because I am trying to get under their skin. I’m well-practiced in that regard. I know what works. A nudge. Then another and another and another nudge. That might turn off some people. But still, it’s my way. And it works sometimes. Because I mix in some humor, too. And I readily admit that maybe I’m the one that needs nudging. It’s real funny. When people discover I have a real thick skin. Thick as armor. Almost impenetrable.
