Better than a two-bit politician.

I want to be me. Nobody else. Plain and simple. I have no desire to be a millionaire. Or a powerful, influential politician. I can settle for less. Just being conscious and alive and healthy. Of course, I’d like to live forever. And maybe I will. In fact, I’m banking on it.  Assuming (with the help of my imagination) that someday I will be a conscious, thriving, ambient spirit. That’s where I’m headed. It’s a vital part of my being.  That’s why I’m satisfied being me.  I’m on a path to fulfillment. Because I will be a loving spirit. Certainly, that’s far better than being an unhappy millionaire or a two-bit politician. –Jim Broede
