Curiosity trumps privacy.

My Italian true love respects the privacy of others. Especially strangers. I don’t. Because I’m curious.  But my true love puts privacy ahead of curiosity. Happened this past weekend. When she flew back to Italy. And sat next to a woman and her young son. They spoke a strange language. One she was unfamiliar with.  But she didn’t inquire. To this day, she doesn’t know their nationality. Or their country. If I had been with my true love, that mother and son would no longer be strangers. I’d know significant stuff about them. And they’d know about me, too.  Curiosity trumps privacy. –Jim Broede
