When a slightly negative thought pops into mind. I swing
into action. And replace it with a slightly positive thought. That tips the scale/balance.
My thinking picks up momentum. In a favorable direction. And before long. I’m
on a happy roll. I’ve been able to turn a sorrowful thought into a poignant and
fond memory. Of course, it takes a disciplined mind. Trained. To savor the best
of life. Rather than the worst. Really,
it’s easy. Given the choice. I’d rather
feel joy than sorrow. –Jim Broede
