Finding one's own way.

After many years (at least 10) of posting on the Alzheimer’s message board. I decided to quit. Cold turkey. Because I’m finally recognizing. That it’s become a waste of time and effort. I no longer relate meaningfully.  With the active care-givers. I may do them more harm than good. Because I could be coming across as a know-it-all. By pushing how important it is to get on with life. The sooner, the better. And to diversify one’s life. In the midst of the care-giving experience.  They have to find their own way. Without annoying advice from the likes of me. –Jim Broede
